A Stronger Network Together
Established in 2024, the Department of Social and Critical Inquiry unites the rich legacies of the former American Studies Program; Asian and Asian American Studies Institute; Native American and Indigenous Studies Initiative; and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program.
Though newly established, our Department builds on a foundation of vibrant student communities and well-established alumni connections. Your degree from the Department of Social and Critical Inquiry links you to a dynamic network of Huskies ready to support your personal and professional growth.
