Nazrul Committee of Connecticut
The Nazrul Committee of Connecticut is dedicated to promoting the work of Kazi Nazrul Islam, an internationally recognized activist, scholar, poet, philosopher, and the first poet laureate of Bangladesh. Founded in 2006, the committee highlights Islam’s commitment to equality, social justice, peace, and human rights by hosting programs such as symposia, lectures, poetry readings, and play performances that showcase his work.
